The Water Data Drought
By CHARLES FISHMANI like where this op-ed is going. Not only does the infrastructure physically need to be visible, the ways in which we use that infrastructure need to be visible as well. We are addicted to data. To only have every fifth year of data to work with, how are agencies and designers supposed to improve water efficiency and efficacy?
"Water’s biggest problem, in this country and around the world, is its invisibility. You don’t tackle problems that are out of sight. We need a new relationship with water, and that has to start with understanding it."
