Architecture and Water

With our installations we are limited in our ability to actually move water as it is such a heavy substance and requires a large amount of energy. Ellen presented the great idea of actually using the user to complete such a task, and more importantly in a fun way. It is unfortunate that we have to sacrifice this aspect of the design especially because it is the purpose of the installation. As we move forward with Charles' and Ellen's designs we face the challenge of taking these very orthogonal and hard objects and making them feel or even act more organic. The following, although they focus on the use of water, can help drive inspiration as to how to conquer these problems in our designs.
